WHO
WE ARE
We are a fun club for beginner and serious rock hounds of all ages and backgrounds! Satisfy your natural curiosity about local rocks and minerals surrounded by knowledgeable others with a similar passion and interest. We are proud members of the British Columbia Lapidary Society.
MEETINGS
Once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Vernon Community Arts Centre at 7pm (from September through June) we meet to discuss happenings of the club, share rock specimens and information. PLUS: Door prizes, 50/50 draw and silent auction table!
FIELD TRIPS
Spring through Fall, we host rockhounding field trips to some of the best local sites around! Trip dates are posted to our Calendar and communicated in greater detail over Facebook / email the Wednesday prior to the trip.
WORKSHOP
Members enjoy our fully equipped lapidary workshop hosted by helpful supervisors there to show you the ropes. Learn how to turn your rock finds into amazing works of jewelry, art or functional home decor! Book your Workshop time now by contacting a supervisor on our Calendar.
